About your therapist
I am a registered occupational therapist and psychotherapist in training. With nearly three decades of experience in counselling across Britain and New Zealand, including volunteer work for Youthline and a Rainbow helpline, I bring a wealth of understanding and empathy to my practice. Having trained in Focusing, a relational practice that emphasises attentive listening, I offer skills of presence and compassion when supporting clients.
My approach to therapy
My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to understanding your unique experience. I integrate principles from my varied experience and skill set to help you navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, loneliness, relationship difficulties, and stress. Together, we will explore your inner world to foster growth and resilience.
Therapy services
I offer psychotherapy tailored to support adults facing various life challenges. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, loneliness, navigating relationship difficulties, dealing with physical health issues, or are a health professional facing stress or burnout, I am here to support you. If you are navigating grief and loss, exploring your identity, including coming out, or are facing challenges in life that feel overwhelming, together, we can find a way through.
Kirsty is friendly and supportive. She listens and cares.
